Zoomer's Math Games

Why math games?

Zoomer's Math Games image Math games for kids are the best way for your children to learn math skills. In order to truly understand math, children need to do three things: practice, practice and practice.

How Children Learn

Children learn math best when they do so in “real world” situations, i.e., when they are using math to solve a real problem. That is why math games are an excellent method for children to learn math. Children are practicing the basics in a real world way. And, since the games are fun, children don’t even realize that they are practicing learning.

In addition to the basic math facts of addition, subtraction and multiplication, they will also practice their place value, mental math, estimating, and probability skills. In addition, they will gain experience in strategic thinking, and reading. Instructions are provided in writing in Zoomer’s spaceship console, as well as in a quick help and tip section for each game.

Game Play

Zoomer’s Math Games is an intuitive, and easy-to-use program. Children can, with no help or supervision, learn to play the games just by clicking on various areas on the screen.

A variety of fun games are included in Zoomer’s Math Games, so that children can play a game that interests them, and then switch to a different game as their interest wanes.

All five games included in Zoomer’s Math Games are of an outstanding educational value, providing practice in basic skills needed for success in our complex world, while providing a fun way to learn those skills. Zoomer’s Math Games is designed for children ages 8 and up.
